Introductory Polymer Clay

 

Work with this material and you can create just about anything. Jewelry, votive candle holders, picture frames and more.

In this workshop you will learn how to manipulate the polymer clays to make jewelry... and with these skills you can embark on a trip of making almost anything you can imagine. You will learn all the basic cane making techniques as well as the
Skinner Blend and cut & insert.

PRE-REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT REQUIRED. 

Intermediate Polymer Clay

A creativity explosion.
In this workshop you will learn how to manipulate the polymer clays to create a mokume gane (wood eye) type cane, faux turquoise, faux ivory, and many complex canes.

$85.00 - seven hour workshop.

PRE-REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT IS REQUIRED.

Pre-requisite: a beginning workshop in Polymer Clay or comparable experience.

bulletThe student will supply the following:
bulletAll tools
bulletPasta machine: NO motors.
bulletPre conditioned clay - Kato clay is recommended.
bulletColors: Black, white, turquoise, blue, red yellow, gold and/or silver & copper. Large brick of Kato Translucent. And some metal leaf.
Some Kato Clays  will be available for purchase - during the SFS workshops ONLY.
